Prepare for your §341 meeting.
If your Chapter 7 case is administered by Dunn Law, P.A., your meeting of creditors is held by Zoom. Here is how to join, what to have ready, and the documents to send in advance.
Your meeting is on Zoom.
All Chapter 7 §341(a) meetings of creditors are conducted by Zoom video conference. To join the meeting, participants will need the Meeting ID and Passcode, which can be found in section 7 of the Notice of Bankruptcy Case. Section 7 also contains the phone number required if joining by audio only. Debtors are generally expected to appear by video.
- 1Find your Meeting ID and Passcode in section 7 of your Notice of Bankruptcy Case.
- 2On a smartphone or tablet, download the free Zoom app first. On a computer, use the app or join from your web browser.
- 3The day before, test your camera and connection at zoom.us/test.
- 4Join by video a few minutes early from a private, quiet place. If you cannot join by video, use the audio-only number in section 7 and let the trustee know — appearing by phone may require rescheduling.
What to have ready.
Ready on camera
- A valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license or state ID)
- Proof of your Social Security number (Social Security card, W-2, or 1099)
Set up to join
- A charged device with a working camera and microphone
- A private, quiet location and a stable internet connection
- Sessions are recorded and conducted under oath; free language interpretation is available on request
Send your documents early.
All required documents must reach the Trustee no later than ten (10) days before your scheduled §341 meeting. Sending everything on time keeps your meeting from being continued.
Please redact personal identifiers — Social Security numbers (except a copy of the card), bank account numbers, and minor children’s names — before submitting.
Covers individual, joint, and corporate debtors, with the contact and domestic-support forms included.
